Niggly for Physios

See how it's been,
not how they remember it.

When an athlete shares a niggle with you, you get a read-only view of their morning pain, load and phase history between appointments. Niggly for Physios is in pilot preparation.

Everything shown is athlete-reported.
Niggly for Physios view of one mock patient's left Achilles niggle: a pain and load chart with the athlete's pain limit and phase bands, above a daily log table of athlete-reported entries.

Mock patient, for illustration. All data is athlete-reported.

“How has it been since last time?”

Most of what you learn between appointments comes from memory. Niggly gives the athlete a daily habit, a morning pain log and a session log, and lets them show you the record.

What you see

A read-only view of the one niggle your patient chooses to share with you:

  • Morning pain and load over time, on one chart.
  • Pain during sessions against the athlete's own pain limit.
  • Phase history, so you can see when they moved up or stepped back.
  • The daily log, including the notes the athlete wrote.
  • When it was shared and when they last logged.
How it works

Nothing to set up.

Step 1

The athlete sends you a link

From the Niggly app, they choose one niggle and enter your email address.

Step 2

You sign in with your email

Sign-in is by a link sent to your email address. There is no password to create.

Step 3

You see what they've shared

No patient admin and no practice management system integration. The athlete can stop sharing at any time.

Where it sits clinically

Niggly supports your judgement. It does not replace it.

Scores and trends are calculated by Niggly from athlete-reported entries, and the raw entries are always shown alongside them, so you can check the working. Niggly is a decision-support tool. It does not diagnose, and it is not a medical device.

Questions from physios

What data do I see, and does the athlete consent?

You see only the niggle the athlete has chosen to share with your email address. They share it through the Niggly app, so the consent is theirs to give and to withdraw. Everything shown is athlete-reported.

What can the patient see?

Their own niggle, as they always do, and who they have shared it with. Your view is read-only: you cannot edit or add entries.

Can the athlete revoke access?

Yes, at any time in the app. Your access ends immediately. Deleting a niggle also ends every share for it.

Is this a medical device?

No. Niggly is a decision-support tool. It does not diagnose or prescribe, and it does not replace clinical judgement.

Is it live?

Not yet. Niggly for Physios is in pilot preparation. Register your interest and we will contact you about an early-access pilot.
